Steel Beasts can simulate engagements of a variety of sizes. For singleplayer, my comfort zone is the Co+ level. I can’t command effectively too many units.
In this video, I am the commander of a Co(-) US Cavalry force. A Russian armored company (plus minus change) is attacking on a relatively narrow corridor. I am counterattacking with a platoon of M1A2(SEP)s.
My original intention was to hit the Russians on the flank. It worked more or less OK: I was able to put my Platoon on the Russian flank and I was able to neutralize their flank-protecting force. But the numbers were not on my side and attrition was not kind to us.
